Capital Chemist O'Connor is excited to announce the start of our COVID-19 vaccination service - Starting 1st of September 2021

COVID-19 vaccines help to protect our community against coronavirus by preventing serious illness and death.

Capital Chemist O’Connor is an approved vaccination provider for Pfizer.

We are able to administer 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and booster doses. We are vaccinating people over the age of 5 for primary doses, and over the age of 16 for boosters.

If you are unsure what vaccine you should get, contact your GP, pharmacist or use the government Eligibility Checker (https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility).

The vaccination is free of charge and performed in a private room. Your vaccination will be recorded on the Australian Immunisation Register and you will be given a certificate for your records. You are
required to wait in store for 15 minutes after the vaccine for observation.

Make sure you bring your Medicare card and photo ID.

​If any of the below applies to you please DO NOT come in for your appointment:

​

• if you are feeling unwell with fever, cough, runny nose or other symptoms that could be from COVID-19;

​

• if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or have tested positive for COVID-19;

​

• if you are a close contact of someone with COVID-19, or;

​

• if you are in quarantine

​

Your appointment may need to be rescheduled if you have had another vaccine in the last 7 days before your appointment.
